I'm an Avionics Technician and Aeronautical Engineering Professional with a deep commitment to aviation safety, technical precision, and continuous learning. I am driven by a clear purpose: to contribute meaningfully to the reliability, accuracy, and engineering excellence that keeps aircraft and air navigation systems operating safely.
My journey is shaped by a passion for understanding how aviation systems work — and an even stronger desire to improve them.
My interest in aviation began in high school, when my curiosity shifted from simply observing aircraft to questioning the systems that make them fly, navigate, and communicate. The more I learned, the more fascinated I became with the complexity behind the skies we depend on.
This curiosity led me to pursue Aeronautical Engineering (Avionics Option) at the East African School of Aviation, where classroom theory quickly connected with real-world application. Over time, I discovered that avionics wasn’t just a field of study for me — it was a calling.

Although my professional path is rooted in avionics, it is also shaped by my passion for educating, inspiring, and connecting people through aviation.
Fly by Mike is more than a platform — it is an extension of who I am.
Through it, I create aviation content, share engineering insights, build community, and develop tools like Wingman AI that make aviation knowledge more accessible.
It stands as a testament to my commitment to aviation both inside and outside the technical workspace.
I bring a combination of professional traits that define my approach:
Detail-Oriented — I value accuracy, precision, and proper procedure.
Technically Strong — I enjoy solving complex engineering problems and understanding systems at a deeper level.
Innovative & Curious — I constantly explore ways to improve processes, tools, and systems.
Safety-Focused — I prioritize compliance, documentation, and operational standards in every task.
These traits guide everything I do — from practical maintenance work to engineering projects and content creation.
My long-term vision is clear and grounded:
To advance as a licensed avionics technician with strong expertise in aircraft systems.
To work in environments where technical precision, safety, and engineering innovation are paramount.
To contribute to aviation organizations that value reliability, documentation, and continuous improvement.
To keep exploring projects that make aviation smarter, safer, and more efficient.
I am committed to building a career defined by professionalism, growth, and meaningful contribution to the industry I love.
